Diversified Portfolio
We believe a diversified portfolio is prudent given an ever-changing economy and potentially volatile financial markets. We invest in mature, cash flowing, non-cyclical industries with low offshore competition. Specifically we target industries that are prevalent in the Midwest region and for which we have prior knowledge and expertise. These industries include: food manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, business services, transportation and niche manufacturing.

We build long-term value in our investments by designing appropriate capital structure, actively supporting management teams; facilitating new strategic initiatives through investment in human resources, technology and capital equipment; and when appropriate, identifying and executing add-on acquisitions.
